Translations

I translate all your texts, ranging from manuscripts and blog posts to social media posts. Translations can be from English into Dutch but also the other way around.

Sworn Translations

I’ve been included in the National Register for Sworn Interpreters and Translators since 2024. That means I’m allowed to translate your official documents (such as birth and marriage certificates) and give them legal force by digitally signing them and providing them with the official statement of a sworn translator and my identification number.

Revisions

To prevent mistakes, texts should be written with regards to the four-eyes principle: a second person reads over your texts.
I work carefully to correct both linguistic and content errors. When revising translations, I look at both the source text and the target text to ensure that the text not only reads smoothly but has also been translated correctly (in terms of content).
To get a feel for how I work, I’d be happy to revise 3.000 words of your manuscript. The cost would be € 20 (excluding VAT). However, this trial revision would be free of charge if I am subsequently commissioned to edit your entire manuscript.

Subtitles

You can also contact me for subtitles (NL-NL, EN-NL and NL-EN). I did an internship with Filmfest Gent during my master’s, and my internship with LexiQ during my postgraduate degree also offered me valuable knowledge as well.
Details and timing are of the utmost importance when subtitling, which is why you can count on me to create the fitting subtitles.
